About the Maple Grove PTA
The Maple Grove Parent Teacher Association is a parent driven volunteer organization dedicated to the social and academic enrichment of all students and families at Maple Grove Elementary School. The PTA works closely with the principal, staff, parents and wider community to provide financial and volunteer support for a wide variety of programs and activities around these main goals:
Promote family involvement and build a strong school community through educational programs and family involvement events. Such as Sock Hop, Talent Show, Reflections (an art/music enrichment program), Grandparents Day, Destination Imagination, Drama Club, Geo Club, Young Writers, Science Fair and more. These programs are available to ALL Maple Grove students!
Provide funding and volunteer support for academic enrichment activities. These efforts fund the Academic Support Committee which buys teacher's wish list items like music and art supplies, guided reading books, manipulatives, etc. This committee also funds and supports programs and activities which benefit the school as a whole.

The Maple Grove PTA invites you to join and make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children during the school year. Becoming a PTA member simply means that you support the efforts of the PTA. If you would like to attend meetings and/or volunteer for PTA sponsored events, you are welcomed and encouraged! Please become involved at whatever level works for you and your family.
PTA Registration Information
We certainly encourage all parents (dads!) and grandparents to join us, but you do not have to have a child at Maple Grove in order to join. Of your membership fee, $5.75 goes to county, state, and national PTAs. The remainder goes to fund Maple Grove programs. PTA General Meetings
PTA general meetings are an excellent way to get updated on school activities, learn about PTA programs, and provide input on school related issues. PTA general meetings are open to all parents. All meetings held in the school cafeteria on the second Thursday of the month unless otherwise stated
