Remote Learning Families

This year has been one of dispersion, due to the COVID19 virus, and made it extra challenging to reach all families at Maple Grove Elementary and to have a strong sense of community at our school.
The Maple Grove Community is scattered this year; some families choosing remote-only learning for the whole year, some families choosing in-person learning, and other families choosing creative ways to educate their children.
Each family has been faced (and still is) with tough decisions and has to choose what was and is best for them. We believe that no matter what choice each family made (will make), they are still a valuable part of this community!
But we, PTA, have struggled to understand how to create cohesion and community during this dispersion.
This webpage is one effort to reach families who are learning at home this year. We know there are unique needs for "at-home" learners and their families and we would like to hear from them.
If you are one of the remote families this year, will you help us understand how to better incorporate your needs into the conversation, to hear your voice, and to offer unique resources you may need.
If you have ideas, comments, or suggestions about this, please contact Karla here.
