Thank you to everyone who stopped by the PTA tables at Back-to-School night last week! We saw an awesome increase in the number of PTA Memberships, Family Directory Form Submissions, and Givebacks signups!
Congrats to our 2 raffle winners from Back-to-School night: Sabrina Keller and Chris Pataky! We'll follow up with you to make sure you get your prizes.

Want to learn more about the PTA and how we support our incredible school and community? Join us THIS TUESDAY, August 26th at 5pm (Tanglewood Park) for our first PTA meeting of the year. We'll do a quick overview of the PTA - including how we fundraise, upcoming events and ways to get involved as well as vote on the '25/'26 budget. Snacks will be provided and kids are welcome to come play at the park.

(Almost) Last call for Family Directory submissions. In order to be in this year's Family Directory you must submit THIS FORM by Sept 12. In the past you've been required to opt into the Directory thru Givebacks but this year you must complete the form to be included.

Tuesday, August 26 (5pm): First PTA Meeting of the Year @ Tanglewood Park. Come learn about the PTA and how you can get involved. Kids are welcome to join!
Tuesday, August 26 (4-10pm): Grizzly Gathering at Tellers Taphouse & Kitchen. Dine in or take out - 10% of proceeds donated back to our school!

Thursday, August 28 + Friday, August 29: NO SCHOOL - Flex Testing for K-5. Students ONLY attend school during their allotted testing time.
Thursday, August 28th (8:30am): Community Garden work session (during flex testing day 1) - all kids and adults welcome!

Friday, September 5: School Picture Day
Friday, September 5: PTA Membership Drive - stop by the PTA table on the black top out back before or after school for cookies and coffee
Thursday, September 11 (4:30 - 6pm in the Library): 1st School Accountability (SAC) Meeting of the year - we'd love to see you there!

UPCOMING WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:
CALLING ALL CREATIVE KIDDOS! We're looking for fresh new Maple Grove Grizzly designs for this year's Fun Run t-shirts and the cover of the Family Directory! Students from any grade may submit as many t-shirt and/or Family Directory designs as they'd like. Black and white artwork on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper will do! Please submit your child's artwork (or a photo of their artwork) no later than Monday, September 1 to Nicole Dickey: NicoleGrove2003@gmail.com

THE FAMILY DIRECTORY IS BACK!
Looking to connect with other Maple Grove families for playdates, carpooling or school activities? Looking for your child's class roster? Looking for consolidated Maple Grove teacher/staff contact info? Then look no further - the Maple Grove Family Directory is making a comeback this fall!
In lieu of opting into the family directory via Givebacks (formerly MemberHub) like we've done in the past, we're asking all families who are interested in appearing in the directory to FILL OUT THIS FORM by September 5th. Only information provided in the form will be published.
COMMUNITY EVENTS AND PROGRAMS:
Join us for our first Grizzly Gathering of the year this Tuesday, August 26th from 4-10pm at Tellers Taproom & Kitchen on Youngfield. Dine in or take out for 10% of all proceeds to be donated back to our school. Swing by our first PTA meeting of the year at Tanglewood Park at 5pm before grabbing dinner at Tellers for a PTA doubleheader!
Don't miss our first fundraiser of the year - the SAVVY KID SUNDAY Haircut + Photo Session Event presented by Elle.b Savvy Hair Salon and Shea in the Wild Photography. Snag a spot on Sunday, September 14 from 10am - 3pm for a kids haircut ($35) and/or portrait session ($200). The portrait session is a FUN 10 min shoot and includes 5 meaningful images (with option to purchase more). There will be fun treats and giveaways too! ALL PROCEEDS go back to the Maple Grove PTA! Miss Abby (singer, songwriter, musician, teacher and Maple Grove mom) is bringing back the Grizzly Cubs Choir for students in Kinder thru 2nd Grade! Sign up HERE to participate on Wednesdays from Sept 3rd - Nov 12th, 2:35 - 3:35pm. Click HERE to learn more and to explore private and small group music lessons as well.
Maple Grove students in grades 1-5 are invited to join the Colorado Mountain Club's (Maple Grove specific) afterschool climbing program running every Thursday from 2:35 - 5pm (Sept 4 - Nov 20). Students will be picked up from Maple Grove and transported down the street to the new CMC indoor wall in Golden. Click HERE to register now!
