The PTA plans a lot of activities for the school and community, and we would love to have you participate! Get these key dates on your own calendar ASAP!
Get the Word Out
Have something parents should know about? A fundraiser for your class, a project that needs supplies, a student-written newsletter to share, photos from a recent event, or something else? Let us know and we’ll add it to our weekly newsletter and/or Facebook group! Email mgpta2020communications@gmail.com with the details.
Each year, the PTA sets aside funds to provide financial assistance to families for a variety of school-related out-of-pocket costs. The Maple Grove Scholarship Fund is open to all families with students currently enrolled, and can be used for everything from school supplies and after school programs to field trips and spirit wear. Nominate a student or family for a scholarship!
Special Projects
Have an idea for a bigger purchase? Looking for resources to support a professional development training? Email mgpta2020academic@gmail.com with all your ideas, big and small, and we’ll see how we can help you in achieving them!
Volunteers
You should have a room parent or two already assigned to your classroom, but if you don’t, or you need more help, we can bring you additional help. Whether it’s field trip help, career day speakers, muscle to move heavy furniture when you rearrange your classroom, or something else altogether, if you can dream it, we can do it! 'We Care' Committee
This group of volunteers sends notes of gratitude, sympathy, congratulations and more. If you know of a family that needs some community love, a teacher celebrating a big milestone or event, or anything else, please email mgpta2020community@gmail.com with the details.
